- Ordering & Payment: Orders can be placed online and should be paid for by debit card.
Once we receive your order, you will receive a confirmation email with details of where to send your photos. We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery for sending your photos to us.
Once we receive your photos onto our premises they will be scanned and converted. We aim to turn around all orders within 5 days but don't guarantee this.
- Preparation: Photos should be prepared by you for best results - This includes ensuring all blue tack and anything sticky has been removed. Photos should be
placed in large bundles. We will place a separator between batches. There will be no additional folder creating or indexing.
If we receive the photos without any specific categorising they will be scanned as a large batch with a basic filename. Once imported to your
computer package they can be easily indexed. We reserve the right to charge extra for poorly prepared photos or for photos which are sent in bundles of less than 30. If you are unsure,
please ask about this.
- Delivery: Delivery back to you will be made by us or by one of our partners like TNT / UK Mail. Delivery is excluded from the scanning charge but made clear at the
time of order and is £5.99 unless you live outside of the main Uk mainland.
- Scanning: Photos are scanned at 300 dpi or 600 dpi (you decide on ordering) and are saved as jpeg files. We cannot guarantee the quality of the reproduction due
to the variance in quality of the photos we receive. We do not enhance or manipulate the scanned images. Images are deskewed where
necessary. We only scan 1 side.
- End Product: Once the scanning job is complete, we create a CD or DVD depending on the physical size of data needed. The disc
is then delivered to you together with your original photos.
